I am so going to DIE in Kota Kinabalu...

I thought it would be fine, but when i did more surfing about the place (cos more time after HT presentation), i found these...

Tim is getting smarter!

He can recognise his own image in photos and mirror...

He can wave on demand...

He understands when we praise him for being a good/clever boy...

He remembers the things that we thought him... A few days ago, i made the "playing piano" action on the table and he did it today! I told him that banging the table with all fingers won't create nice "music", should use only 1 or 2 fingers at a time.. and now he knows how to do it "properly".. :)

So smart!

Happy Friendship Day!

HT presentation today... After watching Mon's one, i was SUPER nervous and scared that the lecturers will ask difficult questions... But they didn't, so that was good.. also shows my conceptual framework and methodology is ok... Yay! :)

Thanks to SG for running through my slides with me and giving me some very useful comments!

I am also thankful to JK, Yim Mui and Yikang, who turned up to give me moral support!

Dr Carl was also very supportive and helped by asking me to talk more about things that i didn't have time to cover in the presentation...

Had some good comments, which i am REALLY thankful for... but still feel that my thesis pales in comparison with my classmates. Some of their topics are really... woah!! Must work harder and become smarter!

Working on the this presentation has helped me to conceptualise my topic better. Yay! :)

Liyuan flying off to Norway tonight! Yvonne and i went to her house just now.. and Lucky was very... warm and friendly... He kept licking Yvonne's legs... lecherous dog! But he's really smart and adorable... Strangely, i'm not as scared of him as i am of Tasha (Dan's dog).

My heart goes shalalalala! Woohoo!

I'm so happy!! I think i'm the luckiest girl on earth! :)

Dan gave me 2 early V-day presents... Thanks! And he also remembered that i wanted to buy Happy Birthday cd, so we went to the cd shop just now.. but i felt paiseh that he already spent so much so i paid for it myself. :) Thanks dear!!

Then!! when i came home, my mum passed me gong gong's watch!! yay!! my godpa said that he'd help me to repair it then wear for awhile then give me, but he gave it to me TODAY! He said that gong gong told him in his dreams to give it to me soon. Haha! I think he's joking but I'm still absolutely elated!! *BIG smile*

Granny's day out!

We brought mama out for lunch today. Ichiban sushi at Toa Payoh!

She ate ALOT, which is good. I've been wanting to bring her there for a long time, but with gong gong's passing and all, we were too busy to go out. So, she had to wait this long since 2 weeks ago when i bought a california handroll for her...

And we (my parents and me) don't bring her out for lunch often cos we don't drive... So today, she had to take the bus. First time in a long while... We took a cab there, so that was fine. But coming back, it was difficult getting a cab, so we took the bus. And she gamely walked all the way in! Woohoo... She's quite fit man...

I hope she enjoyed herself... Took some photos so that can show her next time. But will not post them here cos she's shy.. haha! :)
